Responsibility made transparent

„Sustainability is not a project, but part of our DNA.“

With these words, Tim Kielholtz, Managing Director of AS Arbeitsschutz, sums up our understanding of responsible action. With the 2026 Sustainability Report, we are making this claim transparent and showing the progress we have made, the issues we are currently focusing on, and how we understand sustainability as an integral part of our daily activities.

ESSENTIALITY & TRANSPARENCY – CLEAR FOCUS, CLEAR DATA

The current report is based on an updated materiality analysis that highlights the sustainability issues that are currently most important to us and our stakeholders. It helps us to set specific priorities and systematically develop measures. At the same time, we have expanded our data base: particularly in the areas of energy, emissions, packaging, and supply chain, we were able to collect additional key figures and present them more transparently - a solid foundation that we will continue to build on in the coming years.

SUPPLY CHAIN & CIRCULAR ECONOMY

One key advancement concerns our supply chain. 100% of our active production partners have now been audited or certified according to recognized social standards. This ensures that fair working conditions, transparent processes, and clear requirements are maintained throughout the entire value chain.

Structured testing and evaluation processes, as well as continuous dialogue with our partners, help us to identify risks at an early stage and implement targeted improvements.

We have also continued to drive forward the topic of circular economy. With GAIA circulair and the first concrete product examples, we are showing how the return, sorting, and recycling of PPE can work in practice.

THINKING AHEAD ABOUT SUSTAINABILITY

With NITRAS NOW, we have further refined our approach to transparent product labeling.

For us, the 2026 Sustainability Report is not an end in itself, but rather another step forward. With an expanded data basis, clear priorities, and concrete measures, we are working consistently to further develop our responsibility in a measurable and transparent manner. Our goal remains to permanently anchor sustainable action in all areas of the company - today and in the future.
