Celebrating, laughing and spending time together

On 19 June 2026, it was that time of year again: this year’s summer party brought colleagues, families and partners together on the grounds of our logistics centre in Bedburg. With glorious weather, a great atmosphere and plenty of shared activities, one thing took centre stage above all else: being together.

Away from the daily grind, the summer party offered the chance to catch up in a relaxed atmosphere, strike up new conversations and create shared memories. It was particularly lovely that so many family members and children were there too, turning the party into a real community experience. The many encounters and conversations demonstrated once again just how important personal interaction is for a strong sense of community.

Another special moment of the afternoon was the announcement of the winner of our anniversary shirt auction. The autographed Borussia Mönchengladbach anniversary shirt was presented to the lucky winner on the spot. At the same time, the event provided an opportunity to reflect together on the successful outcome of the fundraising campaign – you can read more about that here.

The summer party has thus once again shown how important shared experiences are for our sense of togetherness, and how community, commitment and joy can be combined.

FUN FOR ALL AGES

There was plenty of entertainment throughout the afternoon. Whilst the youngest guests let off steam on the bouncy castle and playing various games, activities such as darts, table football and basketball awaited the adults and older children.

The varied programme created a relaxed atmosphere and offered plenty of opportunities to spend time together. The focus was not on the individual activities, but on the many encounters and conversations that characterised the afternoon.

Once again, the summer party provided an opportunity to experience team spirit outside the daily work routine and to create shared memories.
