Our jersey auction for a good cause

For us, taking responsibility extends far beyond our core business. As a company, we are firmly rooted in the region and want to provide support wherever it is needed. That is why it quickly became clear that we wanted to use a special initiative to work together to contribute to a good cause.

The focus was not only on supporting an important regional organisation, but also on the idea of bringing people together for a common goal. After all, social engagement thrives on participation, solidarity and a willingness to take responsibility – values that also shape our day-to-day work.

With our jersey auction in aid of the Tafel Bedburg, we wanted to bring this very idea to life. The initiative offered a simple way to get involved whilst supporting an organisation that works day in, day out to help people in difficult life situations.

We were particularly delighted by the huge response. It shows just how important social engagement is to many people and what a positive impact joint initiatives can have.

Special congratulations go to René Eidams’ young daughter (@thecube180), who was delighted to win the autographed anniversary shirt. What started as an idea quickly became a project that not only raised awareness but also enabled tangible support. 

A SPECIAL HIGHLIGHT FOR A GOOD CAUSE

The response to the campaign was overwhelmingly positive. Many staff members took part, highlighting just how important team spirit and mutual support are, even beyond the day-to-day working environment.

TOGETHER FOR THE BEDBURG FOOD BANK

Through this initiative, we aim to strengthen precisely this commitment. Every contribution has helped to provide local support where it is needed. At the same time, the high level of participation shows just how much can be achieved when many people work together towards a common goal.

And so, what started as a special prize draw became a joint contribution to a good cause – and yet another example of how we put responsibility into practice in our everyday lives.
